Weekend Programs: Short Bursts, Big Impact
Limited time, big thirst for knowledge? Our weekend programs provide intensive learning experiences for busy students who have passed the CTY Greece exams (Grades 2 to 11) and are looking to explore a specific subject. Weekend programs are offered in various Greek cities and Nicosia, Cyprus.
- A World of Learning: Weekend programs offer a taste of our engaging courses, some of which are also available in the summer programs.
- Interactive and Engaging: Participate in presentations, workshops, and activities designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding. • Focused Learning: Weekend programs consist of 10-hour sessions (5 hours on Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday) on a chosen topic.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE WEEKEND PROGRAM
As part of a weekend program, students engage in a rich and interactive learning experience. The courses are fast-paced, with high academic standards, and are governed by CTY Greece guidelines to ensure the program runs smoothly and safely. Attendance is required on both days, and students must exhibit exemplary behavior both academically and personally. They must adhere to rules suited to an academic environment, including maintaining academic and personal integrity, respecting others’ ideas and property of others, and behaving in a friendly, cooperative, safe and responsible way.
If students fail to comply with these rules, CTY Greece reserves the right to take necessary actions to maintain the program’s smooth and safe operation. Tuition will not be refunded for students expelled from the program.
How to Register for our Weekend Programs
Weekend Programs are available to 2nd – 11th Grade students.
Registration to the programs takes place through the MyCTYGreece account. Under ‘Available Programs’ one can find the programs offered to each student based on their exam scores and age. There are no scholarships for these types of programs. Weekend programs are offered at specific times of the year, and registration for each one is independent.
